Threaded Seal Tape

THREADED SEAL TAPE

Use this high density sealing tape to seal threaded connections up to a pressure of 100 bar (at 200 °C to max 16 bar). Use the tape for applications with: air, water, nitrogen, gas (max. 7 bar), propane, butane, ammonia, hydrogen, solvents, acids, alkalis, fuels, refrigerants and steam (max. 180°C, max. 16 bar).

Pros:

• Threaded connection can be adjusted up to 45° after sealing tape has been applied
• Requires less windings due to high density
• Minimal danger of clogging of the pipelines thanks to a high resistance to tears and fractures
• Suitable for a wide temperature range from -240 to +260 °C
