Reliable, robust switched-mode power supply in a slim-line housing with extensive protective measures against overload, short circuit and polarity reversal. The primary clocked switched-mode power supply delivers a stabilized DC voltage of 12 ... 14 V and a current of 10 A. The output voltage can be continuously adjusted between 12 ... 14 V with a screwdriver on the underside of the device. The output voltage is set to 13.8 V at the factory. Due to the switching frequency of approx. 70 kHz, the components and thus the housing could be selected to be very small. Since switching power supplies work without a transformer, the weight is reduced by approx. 80% compared to conventional linear power supplies. The connection is made via 4 mm sockets.
The device supplies a stable output voltage, similar to a stabilized fixed voltage power supply. The output voltage remains stable even when the load changes.
