History Makers issue from the early 1980s. This is the finest large-scale injection-molded kit of the legendary workhorse. Model actually comes apart and each sequence configuration of the Apollo Mission can be demonstrated with this model: Lift Off, 2nd stage, 3rd stage, separation, docking, lunar orbit, lunar module separation, lunar descent, lunar exploration, lunar lift-off, docking, starting for earth, separation, and reentry/recovery. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory bags. All are still sealed except one that is opened. The opened one has been inventoried complete. Includes decals, clear window material and instructions as well as the 'Apollo Story' book. NOTE: the instructions and 'Story' book have moisture damage. They are still usable but there are water stains. The kit box, parts and decals do not.
